Microsoft .NET Senior developer that has extensive experience designing & architecting .NET applications and providing Web service solutions in a collaborative context.
Required skill-sets:
• Five (5+) years Hands on experience in designing/architecting & programming enterprise applications.
• Three (3+) years of experience in:
o .NET framework design and development (.Net 2.0 preferred).
o Hands on experience in programming C#, ASP.net,
o VB.Net, ADO.net, Win-forms/Web-forms using Visual Studio 2005-HIGHLY DESIRED
o SOA (using Web services, WSDL, SOAP) -HIGHLY DESIRED
o Experience with Reporting/Analysis & Integration services-HIGHLY DESIRED
o XML, XSLT, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML/CSS, UML, MS Visual SourceSafe/PVCS-HIGHLY DESIRED
• Design and development using OOAD concepts
• The candidate must have experience working with offshore developers and mentoring them during SDLC.
• Candidate should also have SQL database knowledge and understand the architecture behind applications.
• The candidate should be self-motivated and able to work independently.
Responsibilities include:
• Communicating with Offshore developers on regular basis in terms of code reviews, making sure design is implemented correctly in code, clarifying documents & mentoring developers during development process
• Designing the current system that would align with enterprise architectures & business requirements.
• Work closely with Project Manager, Business Analysts, Architects and Offshore developers to design & develop the best solution.
• Designing, constructing, testing and implementing technology applications.
• Adhering to established information technology standards and procedures.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Project Manager.
Pluses:
• MCAD or MCSD Certification
• Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) Version Control system
• Experience Integrating .Net applications with Lotus Notes
• Experience working with Microsoft Enterprise Libraries (Software factory/Application blocks)
Compensation will be in the neighborhood of six figures annually, plus or minus based on terms preferred. A full package with excellent benefits is available, or hourly rates with varying levels of employer contribution.
